How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4561418 / 316419134 Overlay

Pulled the range out from the wall so I could get behind it. Unplugged it and removed the back plate from the range. Unplugged the two connections on the old panel to remove it. Adhered the overlay to the front of the new panel. Plugged it back in and attached it to the range with the 4 screws—careful not to tighten them too tight to avoid cracking the plastic. 

I replaced the overlay

I purchased a new display/control I also decided to purchase a new display "cover". I strongly suggest anyone buy that, as that cover is stuck on and would probably be difficult to remove and use over the new control. An easy job. The worst part was cleaning up the mess under the stove. 

Replaced the board. 

Replace control panel. Recommend replacing over lay with it. The new one looks better than the old one and chance of damaging the old one when peeling off the old board.
