How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5184551 / 316419353 Overlay

Replaced control board/clock and overlay. 

Moved oven out in the open, removed top rear panel covering the oven clock and controls. 4 screws held it in. Took it out, unplugged electrical connection, plugged in new part, installed it, put rear panel back on and plugged it back in. 

I called my "go to" guy Brian at Free State Appliance Services. He came to the house, diagnosed the problem and read me the part numbers while I entered them into an email to you. A couple of days later, after I received the parts, I called Brian and he came back, installed the parts and went to his next customer. I fixed the problem easily. Brian says you are his first choice when he needs parts and quick accurate service. 

The temp sensor tested ok, so that left the control board. I ordered one at about 3 pm on thur and received it at 930 am the next morning. I took about 15 min to install, problem solved. 

We ordered a replacement from APP. 

Being an early 2000 Kenmore stove the electronic controller was discontinued . AppliancePartrsProsstove! 

Ordered the parts from you. My husband and son-in-law put them in. My son-in-law has ordered from you before. He said this was much easier than the repair on his dishwasher. 

Replaced control panel and overlay. 

We ordered the control/clock and the front overlay for the stove. 

I first replaced the oven temp sensor with no luck. The igniter was working, so the next thing to replace was the control board and overlay. Which sends information to the temp sensor. That was it oven working like new.
