Gary, This issue would be caused by either a bad sensor which you can test for 1090 ohms. If this checks ok then the control board 5304510064.

Kelvin, The best way to fix the overlay would be to get a new overlay 316419353. Once the overlay comes in then you would want to slide the unit out and remove the rear cover. Remove the clock assembly and then remove the old overlay and clean the plastic on the clock then adhere the new overlay to it and reinstall.

Jane, The only tools that you should need to replace the overlay is a Phillips head screwdriver and possibly a 1/4" nut driver or socket. You will pull the unit out and remove the rear cover of the control panel. Make sure power is disconnected and take the clock assembly out of the unit. Peel off the old overlay and stick on the new one and reinstall.
