How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3731407 / 316400601 Oven Bottom Panel

Ordered a new bottom panel from AppliancePartsPros.com which turned out to be a fantastic choice. While the panel replacement was quick and easy we are most impressed by the service we received from AppliancePartsPros. When I submitted the order we vot immediate confirmation. Within 1 and 1/2 hours we received notification that the new.panel had shipped via Fedex and was on its way. Although we did not pay for overnite or express shipping the new panel was delivered in less than 24 hours after I placed the order. This is quite impressive and speaks of a tremendous relationship between the vendor and Fedex. I don't make many appliance repairs but you can be sure that should I need any appliance parts they will definitely be ordered from Appliance Parts Pros. They offer the best online shopping, shipping and customer service there can be. 

Very easy , just remove the 2 screws that are in the back ( inside the oven ) 

Once received, uninstalled old one, installed new one. 

Just replaced the panel. Quick. Besides the fix; this website is FAST AF to ship out their part. Like my lawd. And the quality of the part was better than OEM if that. 

I ordered a replacement panel from AppliancePartsPros.com after reading blog after blog and watching several videos online on how to use assorted household products and chemical solutions to dissolve and scrape the melted aluminum from the panel. These procedures took days and muscle power and still looked unacceptable. Once I discovered I could just simply order a brand new replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com and could have it shipped to my mother's home for next day delivery, that was the solution for me. All that was required was unscrewing 2 screws in the back of the ruined panel and gently lifting it out of the oven, then placing the new panel from AppliancePartsPros.com where the ruined panel was removed. Then replacing the removed screws in the back corners of the panel, I tightened them with a regular flathead screwdriver. It took all but 5 minutes start to finish including removing the new panel from it's packaging and finding the flathead screwdriver. Easy peasy! 

Ordered a new oven floor from Appliance Pros. Worked great! Looks great! Fit great and was easy to install. 

Ordered a replacement. Two screws-Pulled the old one out and put the new one in. I easily found the part, ordered it and it arrived in a few days. 

The part we ordered arrived within 2 days. The hardest part was unscrewing the screws holding down the old cover. The new one fit perfectly. Very good price, quick servive and perfect replacement part. Can't ask for anything better. 

Ordered a new oven bottom and replaced it. 

Ordered a replacement cover plate and exchanged it. After removing the damaged plate, I immediately noticed the lower cover in as bad a shape. I was able to clean it up a little. So ideally, both should have been ordered and replaced as a set. Will do that next time and hopefully those 2 $9.00 apiece screws will be cleanable again.
