How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4508522 / 5304475569 Pc Board Assembly

I tried running washer in every cleaning cycle and it did same thing. So I thought all it could be is bad motor/pump or control board. Being only 4years old I ordered control PC board. I changed it and that is all it took to repair it. 

We replaced the motherboard, console assembly, and pc button assembly on our frigidaire dishwasher. We've had the dishwasher for six and a half years, and for the last year we were only able to use the delay start in order for it to wash dishes on power plus. It finally read PF and nothing worked on it. So after replacing everything mentioned above, it works like it's a brand new dishwasher and we saved a lot of money by going through here vs buying a new dishwasher. Had to replace the control panel. 

Everything seemed to work other than the wash circulation pump. The dishwasher filled with water, the dispenser would open and then it would just drain after the timer expired. The first thing I checked was the wash pump motor. It wasn't receiving voltage on its motor lead which lead me to order a new control board. After replacing the board everything is back up and running. I had several quotes for this repair in the $300-$400 range. A new machine would have been $400-$600. Having fixed a dryer with parts from AppliancePartsPros.com I knew I could get what I needed for much less. $125 and a few days later the dishwasher has been repaired. 

I googled my dishwasher's model number and conducted some research on the I-net. I read the information on several sites and watched several YouTube videos to get an idea of what the problem might be and how to resolve it. I finally concluded that the problem resided in the PC Board assembly; thus, I opted to replace it. Before purchasing the new PC Board, I researched several providers online for availability, price, shipping costs and return policy. I could have saved about $15.00 had I opted to purchase from Amazon; however, AppliancePartsPros provided what I perceived to be a more attractive return policy. I ordered the new board from AppliancePartsPros and it was delivered very promptly. I installed the board within 30 minutes and my dishwasher is working again. Customer support guided me o replace the main circuit board 

I ordered a new motor thinking that the old one had died, didn't fix the problem. Once I installed the new motor it would run for about 20 seconds and then die. I researched the problem a little further and found that the Pc Board must be faulty. Ordered a new Pc Board and problem fixed! 

I self diagnosed my problem to be a circulation pump and after changing everything, discovered that was not the problem. Waisted $150. Live and learn. After reading more on the internet, I then diagnosed it to be the PC board. Lesson learned. Call the manufacturer to correctly troubleshoot the problem before spending money. It works now but I spent twice as much as I should have. The pc board change out was simple and I used the U-tube video to train me. Piece of cake. 

Checked for 115vac at motor and at motor capacitor. Not present. Motor Cap measured correctly and motor windings tested fine. Checked for 115vac at washer pump relay on main board and it was not present. Replaced main control board and dishwasher operates normally. Note: All other functions in it's main control board functioned properly in the test cycle. Suspect that the washer motor relay failed on control board. 

Installed new PC board and new latch because of wear and tear. Back up and running.
