Uncle Ernie December 11, 2020 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 Hello, My Frigidaire dishwasher seems to start ok, taking in water, but once the washing cycle starts, the water drains out. I replaced the PC Board assembly (part # 5304475569), but that did not make any difference. Any suggestions? Thank you!
1 Answer Uncle Ernie, based on the information provided, it sounds like the cancel button on the panel 5304475578 may have a stuck connection causing it to cancel out of operation. As the main control 5304475569 was replaced, it can safely be eliminated as a possibility. Read More...

Codeman January 14, 2020 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 We had a lightning strike near our house, it kicked a couple breakers. The dishwasher motor now won't stop running. I reset the breaker and left power off a few minutes to reset it, but it still runs any time the door is shut. Is this most likely a control board issue ?
1 Answer Codeman, Yes, it's most likely a "stuck", or damaged motor relay on the control board 5304514670 / 154752901 Board, control. When you close the door, the door switches close and supply power to the control board. With a "closed" relay, power is applied to the motor and it runs as long as the door is closed. The correct part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...
Gary August 20, 2019 for Model Number fghd2472pfoa have no power or indicating lights on keyboard, can't start dishwasher. have power at outlet and cord.
1 Answer Gary, You will want to check connector P1 black wire and P3 pin 7 white wire for 120 vac with the door closed. Also, check the P4 connector that supplies 12 vac to the user interface. If the 120 vac is not present the door switches would need to be changed. If no 12 vac to the user interface the main control would need to be replaced and if the 12 vac is present the console needs replaced. Read More...
Ian January 17, 2019 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 When I press the power+, normal wash and light wash button the machine doesn't run. However, the following numbers shows up when I press energy save #105,china crystal #095 and rinse 017. These numbers don't appears to be error codes, so am not sure what they are....PLEASE HELP
1 Answer Ian, you may have a bad user interface or a bad control. The numbers that are showing up should be the time left in cycle. If the power plus, normal wash, and light wash do not have any indication that they have been pressed, then you have a bad user interface 5304475578. If the unit will run when the other buttons are pressed but not when power plus, normal, and light wash are pressed, and all the buttons come up with a time remaining, then you will have a bad main control 5304475569. Randy May 17, 2018 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 Our dishwasher's start button did not respond to clear a PF code. After shutting the door to clear the code, the drying option buttons will not respond as well. All the other buttons work. I suspect it may be the door switches. Can you explain how to test them please?
1 Answer Randy, To test the door switches you would simply remove the inner door panel and do a continuity test on the switches. Read More...
John January 31, 2018 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 The dishwasher heating element stays on at all times. I turned off the breaker to reset the unit and this did not work. The heating element had good continuity. The thermostat had 15 ohms at room temp. Is the control panel the likely issue? Is there a way to test it?
1 Answer Hello John. You will need to order 5304475569 for the control board. The relay is stuck on and is causing the heater to stay on the unit. Thank you. Read More...
L_3 August 16, 2017 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 I keep getting an error code PF which I've discovered stands for Power Failure. I've shut off the breaker to the dishwasher a few times now but still get the PH code and the dishwasher won't clear out or run. The last time, when I turned the unit back on, after leaving power off overnight, the error code was gone and it drained all the existing water. I figured it was fixed. But when I walked away, the dishwasher started it's beep thing and flashing PF. Is this a control board issue?
1 Answer L_3, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty control board with the PF continuing to come back. Read More...
