How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5998652 / 316233903 Probe

Replaced oven temp sensor. Connector on new probe was different from original; had to splice old connector onto new probe using ceramic wire nuts.

Got both parts from here. Element was tge correct one but the temp probe was wrong. Didn't matter because the old temp probe wasn't bad after all. Unhooked the connections to the element, removed the screws, oulled out the element, slide in the new element, screwed in the retaining screws and reconnected the wires. Is now functioning correctly. 

Replaced oven control board 

Bought a temp prob. Fixed and handled less than 5 minutes. Thanks appliance parts pros!!! 

Replace it with a new broad. 

Installed new temp. probe. No change. Ordered and installed new circuit board. Works. Had biscuits of breakfast this morning. I must congratulate you on your customer service. Ordered late one day; shipped the next; and I received my order the next. 2 day turn-around. Lovely. N. Maness 

Replace probe 

I replaced the computer, temperature probe, and the igniter. This is the 2nd time having to replace the igniter. I had to solder the old conectors on the temp probe and the igniter. Everything is working fine now.
