A few weeks ago, I had to pause the wash cycle early in the sequence to add another item to wash. When I did that, the door wouldn’t unlock/open. I tried several times and couldn’t get it to work. In fact, I broke the handle doing so (was able to order that part from here, also, and fix it quickly). That issue went away, eventually, after trying the same thing over and over again. It never reoccurred.
During the next week, when I started the wash, I would hear almost a grinding noise and an error message. A second attempt would usually fix the problem.
This week, I paused the wash cycle again to add something to the wash. This time it unlocked but would never lock again to resume the wash. Nothing I tried worked.
When this happened, I immediately thought, “well… might as well buy a new washer.” A quick Google search brought me to this site and have already recommended it to several friends.
The part was readily available on the site and the how-to video allowed me to do the repair during a commercial break on a sports game I was watching. Seriously this was super quick and easy to do.
