I WAS EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM THAT THE WASHER WOULF NOT FILL WHEN I WANTED TO DO A LOAD, AFTER READING WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM I ORDERED THE STRIKER DOOR LOCK. 1 Answer Joan, The strike typically will not cause a problem unless the strike is physically broken. If the door is not locking when you turn it on then it would most likely be the door lock that is the issue.
