How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4508273 / 131763302 Washer Door Strike

I purchased a new striker and door lock/switch for the laundry unit after watching the instructional video on the website and feeling confident that I could do the replacement myself. I am so appreciative of Appliance Parts Pros for having these videos for simple repairs. It saves me a huge repair bill. Everyone at the company was great to work with and I know if I have any other issues I can turn to them for help. 

Ordered and replaced the front and rear door panel and hinge. 

Ordered my part on Friday afternoon received it Saturday! So easy to replace. So happy I found this place to purchase parts Washer working great! 

Ordered the “door lock/switch assy online. Replaced the part after watching a short instructional video. Was super quick & easy! ! Washer works great now! 

Looked at the door and realized prong on latch had broken off. Upon inspection, I saw the piece was stuck in door lock switch assembly. Both pieces would have to be replaced. After looking at u tube videos I realized I could do it myself. Unsnapped door assembly, snapped new one in place and screwed it into the washer. I unscrewed striker on the door. Screwed new one in place and finished. 

One of two contacts on the door striker broke off. Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com and received it in a few short days. The job is a no-brainer. I removed the 2 screws holding the striker and installed the new one. Took less than 2 minutes to complete. 

Put on new latch. 

Well I ordered a new one and replaced it in a minute 

It took about five minutes total to remove the old one and replace it with the new striker. 

Replaced the part and now all is great!
