How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4508273 / 131763302 Washer Door Strike

Replaced with a new door striker I ordered. - The stricker was $11.00 and shipping was about that or more. - Still glad to have the machine working now! 

Ordered door strike and put it on. 

My son had ordered door strikes, so he had an extra, which he replaced again. He said that it was a quick fix, just remove the old one and put the screws in the new one. 

Ordered and received the correct part and got it on the 3rd day . Very easy repair with the correct part 

Replaced door strike.. 

Ordered the part and fixed washer. 

After 15 years, the plastic door latch broke, and if the door won't latch closed, the washer won't start. Easy fix. Takes longer to find your phillips head screwdriver than to replace the door latch. You can't install it upside down or backwards -- it has a little notch that mates up to a key in the door. Your washing machine will be good to go. 

Ordered the door latch assembly and a new strike. I fixed it myself and now everything is working as it should. It took me roughly 10 minutes to do this by removing the top of the washer easy peasy! 

A new Door Strike solved the problem.
