How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6230593 / 5304509438 Support Ring

Bought new part and installed. Easy and fast delivery. 

I received the tray in fine condition. The support ring arrived in a soft shipping pouch, and it was broken into two pieces. After notifying APPC I made repairs o the ring with toothpicks, sewing thread and glue. I really wanted my microwave back in operation. I hope you will send the replacement support ring in a box instead of a soft shipping pouch. 

My mother had accidentally set our microwave to be on for 10 minutes (with nothing inside) versus just the timer while cooking dinner one evening, and then we had a small kitchen fire on our hands! Once the fire was put out, we saw that we needed to replace the plastic support ring and the glass turn table tray. We were SO happy to find this website and easily order the replacement parts we needed using our microwave's make and model numbers. The parts were delivered promptly (even during this 2020 pandemic) and our microwave was totally back in working order! Thanks again, AppliancePartsPros! 

II searched online and came across two sites that had the tray. This site was less expensive and appeared to be more knowledgeable concerning appliance parts. I ordered the part late morning, and it was on my doorstep by the next evening. This was two days faster than I anticipated. I will certainly look them up again when parts are need for a household appliance that I undertake for repair. 

Traced correct tray and support down by using model number on microwave.

OMG--AppliancePartsPro saved my life! This microwave was an "open box" buy from a local provider that had obviously been cannabalized during it's store life. It was bought for my real estate listing that was under contract. Since both interior parts were a problem, I made a photo of the interior label and ordered the parts. The door assembly was not the one that showed up in initial searches. I did however figure out how to take it apart: 1. Wedge out the plastic frame on the inside (similar to what I searched for, however it must be completely removed rather than simply pried back.) 2. Unscrew the metal heat-sync looking thing (2 screws on handle-side of door) and remove it. 3. Now that the two handle screws are exposed, unscrew the old handle and install the new handle.
