How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3965155 / WH43X10034 Agitator Assembly

I replaced the tub dampening straps and also noticed the counter balance on the lower frame work of the tub was loose,. I tighten the counter balance and all is well again. 

Ordered the part from here at 1/2 the cost of from GE site in Owners book. got the part in one day..watched the repair video to see how to do the replacement on Appliance Parts Pros and followed it. Replaced in less then 10 minutes.. wonderful 

Ordered parts on Friday, they were received on Saturday, outstanding service. Followed Utube clip. it took 10 minutes total to do. Super website for appliance parts, install guidelines, price and service. 

Replaced the Agitator and the Coupler. Repair took less than five minutes. The parts arrived within three days of placing the order. 

After getting no help from the local big box store we purchased the washer from, we were told to buy a new washer, we looked up the parts on line and found you. Your how-to-do video showed us exactly how to replace the part. The very handy suggestion about using straps to pull the old one off saved the day! Your pricing was great and we had our part in two days. We couldn't be more pleased. 

This is the third or forth replacement washing machine agitator I purchased. My issue and disappointment is with the original design of the genuine GE appliance washing machine agitator NOT AT ALL with AppliancePartsPros.com. The fins are not strong enough to move the clothing thru the wash and rinse cycles. The ordering was easy and the delivery was very quick from AppliancePartsPros.com. The repair literally took two minutes. I popped the old agitator out and popped the new one in. 

Took me 15 minutes from the time the parts arrived until I was done installing them . 

A very simple fix. I removed the old agitator, removed the bolt in the top of the coupler and removed the old coupler. I slid the new coupler into place and attached it with the bolt. Then slid the new agitator onto the coupler until I heard it snap into place. Took about 10 minutes. 

Replaced the agitator and coupler. 

I started by watching some YouTube videos on how to replace the agitator. The best video was from Appliance Pros and included a link to order the new part. The price was cheaper than Amazon. I used standard shipping and received my new part in about 2 days. The hardest part of doing the replacement is pulling out the old part. Videos will show a couple off tricks using cord string or straps to pull off the old one. I was able to get my fingers under mine, and with a good snap, it popped out. I cleaned up the old spline and slid the new part on. Easy peasy!
