How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3965155 / WH43X10034 Agitator Assembly

Looked on line for videos on this repair. Removed fabric softener dispenser. Old agitator was stuck in place. Took a big hammer and wacked it good on 4 sides. Pulled old agitator out. Installed new agitator and old fabric softener dispenser. Started washing cloths. 

I watched the video on how to replace the GE washer agitator. On the internet I checked on AppliancePartsPros site that the part was compatible with my washer model and then ordered the part online. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the new part came via UPS (Ordered Thursday morning and was delivered early the next day Friday morning using standard shipping. Put my fingers under the old agitator to lift it up and it came right out. I then put the new agitator in the spot where the old one was - pressed it on, and I was done. Replaced agitator, only took 10-15 mins 

Couple parts and it worked again 

Removed the broken agitator pulling up on the part then pushed down the new agitator into place. 

With in minutes I was able to bolt down the agitator coupler in place and then slide the new agitator assembly over the coupler. In all this took about 15 minutes to disassemble and reassemble based on watching your video. Thank you for making my life easier to fix my house hold items without all the hassle and extra expense

We purchased a new agitator. The old one popped off and the new one fit right in.

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros, watched the video they had on their website. Pulled the agitator straight up, took off the fabric dispenser, placed it on the new one ,lined up the new agitator and popped it back in. Ran a load of clothes and we were back in business.
