Inside the oven I removed the bottom panel which revealed the burner. I removed the igniter and found a blob where the holes should be for the gas to go to the igniter to light. I scraped off the blob to find a large hole in the burner tube. The oven lit better after that but wanted to replace the burner to rectify the problem.
Went online and found this part from appliance parts pros for the best price. The burner also included a new igniter. They had an order number so ordered the part in by phone as we do not like to do business online. The company was great. Part came in same week as ordered.
The burner was easy to install. I am not as agile as I used to be but the project was a snap.
