Jon B Austin , TX February 13, 2022 The broiler element on my GE stove burned out. To fix it - I started by looking up the model number located inside the microwave. With the model number, I tracked down the broken part on the web and ordered a new one (AppliancePartsPros.com was by far the least expensive). To help guide me with the installation there was a video on the web that was very helpful. It only took about 10 minutes total replace the old element. Read More... William P Salt Lake City , UT January 10, 2021 Appliance: Bosch GE010-010 Broil element burned out. This is a built in double over. The upper oven had the problem but because the door is quite high it is nearly imposable to reach the upper rear of the oven with both hands. I built a platform out of plywood which sat above the door on which I could lay. On my side I was able to get both hands into the oven to work on replacing the element. When I removed the bad element and pulled it out, the wires connecting it were very short so I tied a piece of nylon string to them so I wouldn't lose them through the back. Getting them plugged into the new unit was very difficult but I finally got them both connected, pushed the new element back in place and connected it to the over with the two screws. Everything now works great. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers

Paul D Sugar Creek , MO October 27, 2020 Broiler element burnt out on my 25 year old GE oven. By using the online chat I made sure the part I was ordering was the correct replacement part for my GE Profile oven. It arrived in two days. It was a matter of unplugging the oven; remove two screws to remove the old part; then plug in the new one and replace the screws. Note that we had already replaced the oven element (which was purchased the same way) about two years prior. We have now purchased dishwasher, refrigerator and oven parts from AppliancePartsPros and happy each time. Read More...
