How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031021 / WB44X173 Oven Broil Element

I replaced it with a new one from you. 

Customer service at Appliance Parts Pros helped me identify the correct element, took the order and it was shipped out that day. I received it the next day and installed it. It should have taken no more than 10 minutes to install but attaching the wires to the element ends is next to impossible without at least three hands and very long arms. 

I replaced both elements with genuine GE parts and my wife is thrilled! 

Typed in the model number here on Appliance Parts Pros. I found the Broil Burner and measure to make sure it was correct size. Then I ordered the burner which got delivered extremely fast. It was a pretty easy repair. Only hard thing was holding wires to get screw started. This is the third time I have used Appliance Parts Pros for parts, would highly recommend!

My mother purchased a home at auction which she intends to restore for her retirement. The house was built in 1957, and came with a kitchen equipped with a 30-year-old GE oven. The oven appeared to function electrically, but it didn't heat. Doing a little research on AppliancePartsPros, I learned that a possible fix would be new heating elements.
