How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5788200 / WB02X11550 Charcoal Filter

I ordered the part and installed it. 

Replaced bulb. One note is that I read that sometimes people reported that the bulb had been attached to the socket with a bit of glue by the manufacturer, causing the bulb glass to break away from the base when turning it to remove. I found no glue on my GE microwave surface light bulb and the bulb unscrewed easily as you might expect. No problem. 

By taking the old filter out and putting the new one in. (Not 100% easy, but that's the fault of the microwave design rather than the filter.) 

I removed one screw from the vent cover on front top of the microwave and removed the cover. This is necessary in order to replace the door. I then lifted the door off of the hinges and then reversed the process. I opted to replace the entire door because it was cheaper than replacing the handle, plus it took less time. 

Parts arrived in 2 days, but instead of the charcoal filters, you sent some other "mystery" parts. I called and you immediately sent the correct filters which arrived the next day. All is well.

UMMM... I inserted the new filter! 

Parts identified, ordered, received, installed. Order filled in a very timely manner and delivered within the estimated time frame. Very timely notification of status of order throughout the process. 

Just fine.. Ordered part paid for 2 day shipping and it arrived as promised. All done no stress. 

Dropped microwave and inserted filter
