Tricia L Walden , NY April 28, 2020 Start button shorted out. I still can’t believe how easy this was! In the middle of Quarantine the start button on our GE dryer stopped working. We called many repair places, some were still working others were shut down. We found one guy who could not come out to fix our dryer for a week and on the date he was scheduled to come he canceled because he had just tested positive. Out of desperation for clean clothes I started looking at YouTube videos To try and assess how hard this was going to be and it really was not at all. I found this site and order the parts and receive them the very next day. On a Saturday afternoon my husband and I set out to fix the dryer on our own. We followed YouTube steps And in 20 minutes we were able to start washing clothes at home again. I can’t believe we were quoted between $150 and $220 for a repair that took 20 minutes and only cost us $35 in parts. Read More... I am a female who has no prior experience in fixing things so this was very useful. I also want to mention and give a great big thank you because the customer phone services walked me through ordering my parts. This all happened when the COVID-19 restrictions were put into place. I ordered my parts on Wednesday at 3 PM and my package arrive the next day at 6pm, they are so amazing! It’s no wonder they’ve been in business for so long. Read More...
