To whom it may...In response to your request for a position on my interface with you and repair of our GE Dryer. Everything went very well with few exceptions. The part and the Dryer are cheaply made which of course is not your fault. This is only noticed by the victim buyer when parts and machines that are built to break down, do break down strictly for the after-market income. This is the same timer to be replaced twice in the last 7 or 8 months. The first one cost $300.00 with $250.00 of that being labor. This time the timer knob protrusion stripped. This is such poor construction and Corporate lack of integrity that I will never buy another GE product. The upside was that it was exactly the same part and with your available video I did not have to guess on how to proceed. None of this is your problem with the exception that the 3 to 6 day delivery forecast was a couple of days off. I had to hold off my wife, also called the “Unstoppable Force”. I appreciated your video, regardless that it was of a different machine and era. The video gave me the confidence and considerable knowledge of how to proceed. I am aware that it might be cost prohibitive to have videos for every version of GE products on file and available. I would guess however, that if you did so in the long run, your competition would be nonexistent. Respectfully, Bob 

Ordered timer, watched your video, took off the back panel and took pictures, removed timer with wires attached, removed one wire at a time and placed on new timer, installed a timer. I unplugged the machine first. I think you guys are the best thing since sliced bread 

After a service call for $75 and an estimate of $350 to repair. I went on appliance part site ordered parts watched do it yourself video and saved nearly $260

I used your online help video. I had no idea what to do but appliance parts pros made it very easy for me to order the right part and install. 

Ordered a knob and an insert. I did not realize the knob came with an insert so that was an item I didn't need to order and did not use. 

I was able to fix the exact part by entering the model number for my GE Dryer. The parts were easy to replace. The parts were GE original. Very satisfied!! 

Simple to replace. I knew it would be simple because when I had it under warranty, it happened. The part was mailed to me in advance of the repairman. I watched him -- and when it happened again after the warranty was over, I realized I could order it and replace it. Thankfully I found this site and the right part.
