The leak seemed to come from the bottom-most point where the pump attaches to the motor, seemingly from the screw hole itself. Poured water into the dishwasher and spent over an hour trying to determine exactly where the leak was, and that is all I could determine. I decided to just replace the whole pump/motor assembly.
It takes much longer to get the plumbing and electrical unhooked and the dishwasher pulled out (and then put back in and everything reconnected) than the pump replacement. Per the vid on how to replacement, the old one comes off in a few mins and the new one goes back on just as quickly. For my model (GSD680X-71WW) I had to use the new bracket since the old one did not fit the new motor/pump. I also had to use one of the wiring adapters and the drain hose adapter. The diagrams in the instructions did not really help me, as it was just 6 or 8 different diagrams with no explanation on which you may need, but just looking at the parts it was easy enough to figure out.
The new motor is a bit quieter and everything works great now.
