How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5806667 / WE01X20378 Control Knob

I just called the ApplinanceParts guys - gave them my serial number- they told me the part number,watched the video and said I can do that.I ordered the part - and installed it no problem! (one thing - the dryer vent exhaust pipe was not flex, so i could only pull the dryer forward 6 inches or so, to get to the screws in the back of the top panel.was a challenge...used a small phillips, whew!) AppliancePros very nice people,helpful and no BS. Great job. 

Took the back off of the control panel changed the switch and replaced the knobs

This was a simple fix. We simply swapped out the old control knob for the new one.

I ordered the timer part and replaced it. The dryer is working perfectly now. 

I took the old knob off and put the new one on.
