How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7210320 / WB27X45466 Electric Range Oven Control Board

I replaced the control board it took me 5 minutes to fix 

Complete control board replacement, reused wiring. Did not order a new faceplate graphic and should have. I was able to peel the old one off and reuse it but it’s noticeably scratched and peeled from some material that did not come loose. 

Put in new control board and face plate. 

Narrowed it down to the board,found it easily on the web site and placed order.did n¨ot come with new face plate,just cut old one off and used it. My personality code was not on sheet,called and had it in just a few minutes 

Replaced the oven control board 

Installed a new control board and oven light from Appliance Parts Pros.com 

Replaced oven control board. Our faceplate had a hole in it, so we replaced that at the same time instead of reusing the old one. Watched your video on YouTube and it was simple and easy. The hardest part was that I didn't find a tool that fit the screws to remove them, but I was able to use the needle nose pliers to get most of them off. Then we found our electic screwdriver set that had an attachment that fit and made the rest of the replacement go much more smoothly. It would have taken less than 15 minutes total if I had used that from the beginning. 

Ordered the board (great price), arrived in 24 hours! Watched a video, replaced in 15 minutes...oven is like new! Remove the back panel (3 screws), remove the control board (4 screws), transfer the overlay from the old board to the new (peel and stick), transfer 7 color coded wires (unplug and plug) to the new board...DONE. Saved $$$ and TIME!

As usual, I knew I could find what I needed on the Appliance Parts Pros website! Found exactly what I needed along with a video on how to do the repairs! I was a little unsure about my abilities to actually fix an electrical problem with my oven. ( Didn't want to short everything in my house) However, I decided to go for it since I had fixed my washing machine a little while back. ( I also had used Appliance Parts Pros for that project!) Needless to say after a good 30 minutes, I had a working oven again! I was thrilled because it was easy to repair and saved myself a lot of money. ( Not to mention I didn't burn the house down!)
