Ray B Carrollton , OH March 23, 2014 Appliance: General Electric GSD500L-01AW Dishwasher front load door counterbalance system failed. One of the cables snapped. Recommended to replace in pairs. Springs were good. Must remove the two bottom cover plates below the door to access. Each cover is held on with two Phillips screws. Cables and springs can be easily hooked back together with no tools. Three year granddaughter held flashlight so I could see better. Read More...
