It was pretty simple, for an adventurous DIYer, with basic tools.
First step was to check out some YouTube videos; a great resource.
• Turn off the breakers for the stove/oven.
• Remove 2 small bolts from the underside at the front of the stove top.
• Tilt up the stove top and prop it up with a couple of sticks of wood (about a forearm length.)
• Take a photo of the wiring patterns, then unplug the wires. (You could also colour-code with paint pens.)
• Remove the retainer clips, holding the burner in place.
• Put new burner in place and attach clips and wires.
• Lower stove top into position and install the retaining bolts.
• Turn circuit breakers back on, check the burner function and reset the stove clock.
Done in less than 1/2 hour!
