How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4355961 / WD13X10045 Handle Actuator

I watched one of the videos for the same issue on a similar model. After that, I took apart the front panel on our dishwasher and fixed the problem. I purchased from Appliance Part Pros b/c their shipping estimate was faster than their competitors. The parts showed up the next day, so I was very happy with my choice. 

Found your website, the part # and the repair video and it was a know brainier from the there on. Ordered the part and 2 days later it arrived and fixed my dishwasher for hundreds less than a repair mas. 

Fixed with the part I received the next day with standard shipping.. 

Well, since I have ZERO mechanical ability I was only able to repair it with the help of appliance parts pro. I've never used them before; don't know any of them. A $8.00 part is all I ordered as that what they stated on the web site I needed. NOT, but in their receipt it showed a you tube video, tools list, approximately how long to repair and level of ease (very). If it wasn't for APPLIANCE PARTS PRO you tube video (FREE??) I could have never been able to accomplish this repair. I feel like a pro junior. Thank you, Thank you and oh yea; THANK YOU. 

I had to break the handle to pull it and the latch out so I could manually open the door. Then I watched the video - my door panel was different but the video did help on identifying the latch, spring and handle assembly. 

I watched the how to video that was supplied and bing bang boom I fixed the actuator with in 10 minutes! 

Replaced Handle Actuator. Part was received less than 24 hours after ordered! 

Diagnose what the problem was - latch not working take apart the dishwasher top handle area to get inside and see what was wrong with the latch find an extra stick piece and determine it was the handle actuator and also notice a spring not in the correct location. try to super glue :) get on appliancepartpros.com website to search my model and determine the part I need watch two videos about handles and actuator. From the video, I was able to learn how and where the spring should go. order the part in the evening run the dishwasher without the handle receive an email the part was shipped in the morning Received the part one day after it shipped replaced after dinner and ran the dishwasher again 

Ordered the part and it was shipped the same day and received the next day. Repair complete
