How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2020721 / WB14X104 Right Door Hinge

I did a search for the oven door hinge part and found the GE repair part. I needed on the appliance part pros site. With the help of a YouTube video, the replacement of both hinges was a simple task only needing a screwdriver and a pair of needle-nose plyers. The repair took no more than 15 minutes! 

We removed the old rusted out hinges on our stove and replaced them with these new hinges. They are perfect. The oven is like new! Very happy with it. Our stove is an older (Either GE or Kenmore) model that we were going to replace. We had trouble finding the model number due to years of fade. But since it still works very well, we decided to keep it and fix. Didn’t really need tools. We just pulled the hinges out by the front and used a screwdriver to hold the spring and then attach new hinges. It was pretty quick and easy. 

Replaced both door hinges. Took practically no time - only needed Phillips screwdriver. 

I called an appliance repair service to replace the broken hinges after receiving them from Appliance parts pros.com. 

The factory parts fit perfect. Had it done in less than 10 minutes 

Found model number of stove on a plaque, went to the Google, and Appliance Part Pros came up. Found schematic on site and ordered part. 

Replaced hinges with no problems at all. 

Brand new left and right hinges, not hard at all. Went good 

It was easy. 

So simple it was ridiculous. Unscrewed 3 screws & detached the spring. Replaced the hinge, reattached the spring & screwed 3 screws back in. Did BOTH sides in literally 9 minutes. Saved $150 from the repair quoted 2 days earlier!! You can do this!
