My husband has enough repairs to do in our home, so I figured I would tackle this one on my own. After removing the top and the door of our dryer, I found the bearing cracked, 3 of the 4 slides were practically gone, the bulb was burnt out, and the felt strip was ripped in half. I ordered the parts needed and they came 2 days later, with standard shipping. I was very impressed with the speed of delivery. I replaced all 4 bearing slides, the front bearing, the light bulb, and the felt piece using only a screwdriver. The repair was very easy because of the videos I watched. The only reason this repair took longer than 30 min was because I cleaned the dryer once I was inside. I should add that I am a 35 year old woman who has never fixed an appliance in her life.
