How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5646395 / WH12X10531 Washer Lid Switch Assembly

Bought A Lid Switch From You And I Fixed The Problem Of The Washer Not Agitating Or Spinning, I Took The Old Switch Apart An Found Two Micro Switches, Check Them To Find One Of Them Was Bad, Both The Two Switches Are Both The Same, The Switch Was Very Easy To Open, I Want To Fix The Old Magnetic Switch, But I Am Trying To Find Wear I Can Buy The Micro Switch, Any Ideas Wear I Can Buy Just The Micro Switch. 

An online search of the problem (would not agitate or spin) indicated it was possibly a bad lid switch. I ordered the Lid Switch Assembly for my machine make and model from AppliancePartsPros. After I received the part, we watched their repair video for the lid switch. Less than an hour later the machine was back in working condition. 

Watched your video on how to remove the lid switch assembly and replace it. After watching the video, it was as easy as tying your shoe laces. It took less than 10 minutes, probably closer to 5 minutes. Thank You 

Found model number on the machine, googled model number and wrote washing machine not spinning. Read a lot of articles and watching videos. Most common problem was belt or lid switch. Purchased them both from appliance parts pro. Got the parts within a week. Watched more videos to refresh my memory. Really a simple fix. It was the lid switch. I'm a girl so-called my husband took the top of washer off to install part which was really simple. I fixed my own washer for $15. 

The issue was resolved by replacing the lid switch assembly. I did replace the capacitor first (which did not solve the problem, but I just left the new one installed). Then, upon replacing the lid switch the washer started agitating and spinning again. For those that need to replace their capacitor - this is a super simple fix. The lid switch replacement is also an easy fix - removing the lid assembly is the trickiest part. The day the part delivered was fantastic. Also, in both cases, repair videos on your site are excellent.

I seen that by lifting the lid and closing it several times the machine would start spinning. I checked your website and it confirmed the lid switch as one of the solutions. I ordered a lid switch and magnet that evening and received it the next afternoon.

I watched the video on repair of both parts which made it very easy to proceed without any trial and error disassembly. Both problems have been solved.
