How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2063068 / WR13X10020 Lower Door Hinge Kit

Purchased cam riser and hinge. Followed the video on Appliance Parts Pros and fixed it in 20 minutes.

Bought replacement kit WR13X10020, which provided the exact parts needed. Video gave good direction on how to remove and replace. The only additional suggestion to add would be it's a good idea to have a second person available during the reattaching the hinge to the main frame. The video shows supporting the door on blocks of wood which work well, but may shift during the process of lining the door up. 

Replace the hinge with my daughters help. 

While the door was pushed closed on its gasket, my wife lifted the refrigerator door so I could put short pieces of lumber and a couple shims under it so that it was jacked up just a little bit higher than what it normally would be. I laid on the floor on my side and replaced the hinge pin and door cam using a small ratchet and a nut driver. It took around 10 minutes. 

Found the parts I needed on AppliancePartsPro website and also saw there was a video that showed exactly how to uninstall and install new hinges. Ordered the parts , which came in a few days, and followed the video and installed the hinges. Could not be easier. 

I just had to take the door off and put the part on. Very simple repair less than 10 minutes.

First we YouTubed and saw an amateur replacing just the upper cam. Then we looked up the part on AppliancePartsPros and watched the professional video there. We took the door off and saw that we needed the entire lower door hinge kit and easily found the correct one and ordered it. Using the regular shipping, FedEx took a week to deliver (my only complaint). However, we replaced the hinge in about 10 minutes. Thanks AppliancePartsPros!
