How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3875619 / WD22X10047 Lower Spray Arm

The bottom spray arm of the dishwasher must have gotten stuck on the element from something in the utensil basket. That’s where things went BAD! After 2 days of melted food processor, magic bullet, real stuff....we pulled everything out and found the problem. After a little bit of research, I found you guys! After years of soap and hard water build-up, the spray arms of my GE Profile Dishwasher were clogged and nasty. Ordered new spray arms and installed them in under 5 minutes. Now my 9 year old dishwasher works like new - dishes and glasses are spotless, even in the "Speed Cycle". Could not have been easier! 

I removed lower spray arm and replaced with new arm. Dishwasher now cleans good again. 

By replacing the arms. 

Basket was simple drop in place of old. Lower spray arm was just as easy..rotated counterclockwise while holding up to remove. Placed new sprayer where old one had sat..rotated clockwise and it locked on. 

My husband has been blowing out the lower spray arm every few months and removing little bits of paper and gunk. Each time seemed to help. He passed away recently and I tried the same thing he tried but had no luck. Being desperate, I looked online for some help. I reached your company, explained my problem, I found the model number and was off to the races. Ordered the replacement spray arm assembly which required no screws or bolts, just placed the new arm in place and so far so good. My dishes are coming out immaculately clean. Hope this fixes the problem for a little bit so I can save up for a new dishwasher! Thank you so much to the person on the Help line and the prompt shipment of my new part. You people rock! 

Replaced the spray arms. Ordered on Friday at noon, got them on Saturday at 11 AM—AWESOME experience. 

I replaced both the bottom and mid-level spray arms 

Replaced the lower spray arm. 

After seeing videos on the website and how easy the repair would be. I ordered the fine filter and the lower, middle and upper wash arms. The repair took about 45 minutes to replace all of the parts. You will need to clean under the lower arm. The fine filter will probably have a lot of debris and gunk trapped.
