Our washer had been having intermittent problems refusing to turn off with the power button or worse refusing to start. After research, decided that replacing the circuit board behind the controls was in order. Replacement took about a half hour. Took a picture of old connections before disassembling and numbered the plugs and the ports on the new board with a marker. After that only a matter of unscrewing the old board with a nut driver (Socket on a socket extension), screwing new board in. Found directions to set personality code to proper number and done.
