How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5982576 / WR60X10348 Condenser Fan Motor

My husband easily replaced.the parts. 

Very easy replacement on GE refrigerator. I also appreciated the reasonable cost and reasonable shipping cost. 

My husband took the old motor out & replaced it with the new one & it works like new. So happy to have found you for parts for our frig. 

Replaced it, works great. 

Go to your excellent website, click on schematic photos and order. The hardest part is taking a good photo of your appliance model's Serial # and ID plate. Tenants threw away dishwasher parts, then claimed "...dishwasher was faulty." Bottom fridge fan was okay, but I replaced that as well. I unplugged frig from power supply (duplex). I redid all electrical connections employing PermaTex Dielectric grease. Keeps out moisture as well as making job easier for next tradesmen. I dumped all ice maker ice and began a new batch. Entire job, two appliances was under 30 minutes. I used my Ryobi 18v battery drill to remove various screws. It pays to keep solid appliances running. Amazing to get the parts delivered so fast! Thanks again! 

Replaced condenser fan motor (and while I was at it decided to replace the fan itself and the two grommets on either side of the motor spindle, one of which DID look somewhat worn when I examined the old one. Anyway, so far so good. Fridge is keeping good temp, fan seems to run when it needs to, no more noise. It's been 3 or 4 days so far...In all, an easy fix (under a half hour) and about $85 in parts with shipping. 

Two days before Christmas the fridge started to make a loud noise (rattle, like a flat tire). I've had repairman out twice about the noise before, but he didn't find anything, just cleaned. Well third time is the charm, so I pulled out the fridge to investigate and saw the fan ready to jump out. I followed "all" the directions and watched the video from you guys. I entered my model no., made sure I had all the right tools then ordered the part. The part was delivered in "2" days exactly, even though it was the holidays. It took me longer to pull the fridge out than replace the part! Parts arrived in 2 business days! Easy fix. Decided to replace the surrounding grommets and fan in addition to the motor. 30 minute repair. Took off access panel on back. Unplugged unit. Needed a couple nut drivers and flat head screw driver. Unplugged fan motor. Removed fan blades. Removed screws holding fan motor. Removed motor. Replaced grommets. Mounted new motor and screwed back in place. Put fan on motor. Plugged fan motor back in. Plugged refrigerator in and new fan working prefect. Replaced rear access panel. Cost about 60 bucks total parts and shipping. This was 50 buck savings from repair estimate. 

I replaced the fan motor which was easy to do. The motor was delivered 2 days after the order was placed. I am very pleased with the service I received from Appliance Parts Pros. 

By replacing the evaporator fan motor in the freezer compartment, I was able to better distribute the coldest air.
