How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031031 / WB44X200 Oven Bake Element

You sent me a new one. My son put it in. It works perfectly and it only took 5 minutes to take the wrecked one out and insert the new one. Thank you!

Replaced failed oven baking element. 

Using a nut driver and screwdriver. I removed the old element and replaced it with the new one. Fast and easy… 

I Googled the oven model, found the part, watched 2 videos, and did it myself!!

I ordered a replacement element. After not finding a part on the website that matched the part number on my appliance, I used the chat function, where an agent looked up my appliance and finally determined the correct replacement. It was mailed and came on time. In the meantime, I was very happy to find a video on your website that told me how to replace this part. Though the connectors were not exactly the same as in the video, the replacement that arrived had the right connectors. I turned off the power (FIRST STEP mentioned in the video), replace the part, and have a working oven again. Thank you for the help and for the video!
