How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031031 / WB44X200 Oven Bake Element

My husband threw the breaker and removed the old element - i went online to the website and found a replacement part - i ordered it and received it 5 days later - it matched the old part, my husband and I installed it, threw the breaker back on and it works perfectly. 

Watched the video at ApplianPartsPros.com. Followed their instructions. Easy Peasy. 

Couldn't have been simpler. Removed two 1/8 hex head screws holding rear plate to the oven wall, pulled out the old unit to access the electrical Philips head screws. Held the connectors with a pair of pliers to keep them from bending in order to be able to unscrew the Philips screws. Removed old unit. This process took 3-4 minutes. Using the two supplied new Philips head screws and holding the connectors with pliers, the electrical wires were reconnnected to the new unit. Finally, the old hex nut screws were used to remount the element bracket to the oven wall. Done. Took less than ten minutes. Replacement element was identical to old element in every way. Easy peasy repair. Whoie process took less than ten minutes. Shipment was quick. Received part the day after ordering with standard shipping. 

Removed 4 screws. replaced coil. 

Ordered a replacement and it was delivered very promptly and now I am able to use my top oven once again!
