How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3140301 / WB07K10043 Oven Door Handle Endcap

I ordered the two pieces to fix this handle and when they came to me two weeks later I got right after taking the door apart to do the fix. It was easy. Took me no longer than 30 minutes except for cleaning the inside of the door (years of use). The parts fit perfectly and I have no complaints. Will use AppliancePartsPros next time...I'm thinking of a new burner for my glass top stope. That fix looks easy too. 

Easy fix using star drive to replace oven door. Burners easily removed by hand without tools. 

Quick repair-unscrew old part and replace with new part. Used a star screwdriver bit and pliers. 

I realized I could just order a new handle and wait to replace my oven when I could afford to. I found the model number and was able to order the parts I needed. Installation took only a few minutes by a friend (I don't think I could have done it by myself). The screws were star tipped and needed a special allen (sp?) wrench. 

I called GE got part numbers then ordered from you. I am recently widowed, 73 years old so it was a bit of a challenge. My husband had all the tools & hardware so I was able to fix it. I was disappointed that new screws were not included with the parts. But I I really did a good job; the handle seems to be connected well & I am proud of being able to do it myself. 

Replaced the broken part with the new ones that I ordered. 

The parts I ordered to repair it came very quickly and worked Great! Thank you. 

Ordered new end caps and replaced them. Project went smooth except the long torx screws that were used to attach the new parts to the door have to be reused and that poses a problem. When you take them out, because they are quite stubborn, want to strip the torx heads. Wasn't able to get one of them all the way back before it stripped completely. When the part is shipped it should have new screws included!! 

Got the part super fast, fixed in 10 minutes. Need torque driver. Does help to have a extra set of hands. 

Obtained a replacement Oven Door Handle Endcap, cleaned the remaining pieces and reattached the endcap. Took a day and a half to receive the endcap and about 15 minutes to complete the repair.
