How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2014008 / WB2X9154 Round Style Oven Or Broiler Igniter

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Fairly simple repair. Youtube Video. was helpful. Approx. 15 min. repair. The oven is back working great. 

Replaced igniter in bottom of oven I almost cut the connecting wires too short bc I couldn’t get the ceramic nuts to bite and kept having to shorten the wires to get a good connection. When I went to install, one was stretched really badly. Had to remove and swap the wires again and then there was enough slack. All could have been avoided if I had kept more of the length on of wire from the old part! 

Bought a new Igniter. Pretty simple. 

Replaced the igniter in the stove. Job went very easy after watching the replacement video that you have with the part quick service and great people Keep up the good work I still can do the job at 82. 

Replaced the "Ignitor". Ordered the ignitor from "AppliancePartsPros" and watched their excellent video detailing the repair procedure. Parts shipment was fast, and the price was reasonable. Thanks!! 

Ordered an igniter from a competitor, they sent me the wrong one. Re-ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com. Paid more, but it arrived the next day. It is installed and working! 

Ordered replacement from AppliancePartsPros.com.. Got the exactly right replacement part with in few days. Online video was great to Show how to install the part. Was very quick and easy repair. Great service. 

I watched the video that’s provided when you look up your part. The video was on the money and tools needed to replace the part. Also make sure you follow the instructions given by the technician on the video exactly no short cuts. Instructions come in the box but watch the video if provided. Also the job is rated easy to difficult. Great job appliancepartspros . 

Ordered a new ignitor. Installed in about a half-hour. If I had more room in my kitchen. It would have been quicker this an older GE Profile oven. But still in great shape. This was the second igniter I have installed on this oven. Sure cheaper than a new oven. Working great again. Replacement parts do not seem to last as long as original parts. But has lasted many years! 

Looking online it was suggested that a bad igniter could be the problem. The igniter worked, but I taped on the burner, which dislodged some crud. This improved the flame, but I thought one more wack may help. The last wack damaged the igniter. New igniter in, flame inconsistent, adjusted air mixture and now ready for the pizza.
