How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2014008 / WB2X9154 Gas Range Oven Igniter

Followed the instructions on the video, just one difference in my oven, but it went well. Oven is working fine. 

I replaced the oven igniter, The video on your website was very helpful! I followed it and it works almost exactly. The only problem I had was the twist-on wire connectors were too small and kept falling off. I used a larger twist-on cap and that worked. 

Read feedback on website...it stated that given the symptoms we have that 82% of the time it is fixed by installing new ignitor. Watched video...seemed to make sense and seemed like something I could do so I ordered the part overnight. Got part, installed part, tested over...works great! My wife and two boys made an apple pie just for complete and thorough testing. All good! 

First, thank goodness it waited till after Christmas to not work. The broiler lit, the oven won’t, so the gas valve was working. Checked the igniter, no continuity, ordered the part. Arrived in a couple of days, did view the video to make sure what I did or didn’t have to remove to make the repair. Once installed oven works again. Thanks, APP. 

Watched the youtube video on how to replace the igniter. And it was as easy as the video said it would be. 

Replaced igniter. 

Repaired according to video. 

Replace same. Overall took about 1/2 hour. Only problem was dogs acting as supervisors. 

Watched your video on how to fix it. Your website has replacing this part resolves this problem 87% of the time. I watched the video and easily installed the part. This website is fantastic and i can't recommend them enough. 

Everything was great until I dropped the ignitor and broke the element!!! Then I had to go and spend more money to replace that one on a Saturday!!! So be VERY CAREFUL when handling the element!!!!
