Ronald W Rochester , MN January 30, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Washer S3200Y1WW Leaking water pump I ordered the water pump from Appliance Parts Pros and it arrived within a couple of days in an undamaged original GE box with a new pump inside. The replacement took about 30 minutes and the replacement video online was very accurate and helpful. The tools I used were a putty knife, pliers and socket set. Good as new again for a very reasonable price. I'll be ordering my future replacements parts from here again! Randall W Spring Hill , TN February 20, 2024 Appliance: General Electric Washer WHDRR418G0WW The whole tub was rotating during the agitation cycle Knew the mode shifter was bad due to the lack of agitation. It was also leaking inside someplace that I couldn't identify. The drain pump was also making a horrible noise during the drain cycle. Completely dismantled the entire unit and even replaced the tub bearing while I had the whole thing apart. I always appreciate the detail that Matt provides in the videos even though doing the work is always a little tougher than he makes it out to be. ;) The two hardest parts of the job were removing the hub nut, which required me buying a spanner wrench and beating on it with a 5 pound sledge until it finally broke loose. I don't think it had ever been removed in the history of the machine so it was corroded on there pretty hard. And second, getting the tub bearing out. I had to fractionally wiggle it by prying it back and forth with a screwdriver while simultaneously putting lifting pressure on it. That part alone took 40 minutes or so to get out. I think it had probably heated up in the past and fused with the plastic of the tub because it just didn't want to budge. Reassembly took hardly any time at all in comparison. It's a shame that a complete dismantle is required for the mode shifter as that part of the work was super easy. Now my washer is so quiet I don't even know that it's running half the time. It's like a whole new unit! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
