Order proper parts from APP which were delivered the next day and replace the guides. 

I removed the old slides that were broken and replaced them with the slides that I purchased from Appliance Part Pro. 

I ordered the parts one day and they were here the next. And I didn't fix my wife did she said it was a simple fix.

It's a great time to clean those old leftovers and things you forgot about to get the drawers and glass off the brackets. Two #2 Phillips head screws for each bracket. Aside from cleaning the fridge out the repair takes minutes to complete and your wife would be just as capable.
