Thanks to my father having a torx driver (learned that term from a friend- I called it a star shaped screwdriver) and a YouTube video, I was able to remove the broken switch and install the new one. Though I wrote down which wire went where, I didn't write down the direction the clip faced so it took me a few tries. Should have taken less than 15 minutes. 

I listened to the video and just followed their directions.....a definite plus. We ordered the wrong part first but the salesman found the one we needed. We would recommend this company to everyone. 

We purchased a whole stater switch and new knob and it was so easy to fix! 

Disassemble control assembly. Remove broken start switch and replace. Reassemble and add knob. 

Ordered the starter switch and all knobs from Appliance Pros (at a cost of about $20 less than any local source, and they arrrived the next day!).

And I fixed the dryer in a couple minutes after watching the repair video on your site. My son was able to do all his wash from college spring break before he left to go back to school.
