How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2633753 / WB1X500D Screws - 12 Pack

Easy fix. Shut off power, remove old element, install new part. 

Replaced element. I ordered it Tuesday afternoon and received it Thursday morning! 

I groaned when the element shorted out. I didn't think I'd be able to replace it on such an old GE range. However, I found this site, and lo and behold, they had the part! It was a bit of a struggle reaching in the back of the oven, but I fixed it, thanks to your video! Now the oven works perfectly. Your website was a great help. 

Ordered part. Watched helpful YouTube video from Appliance Parts Pros. Followed directions. It was a snap. 

Ordered replacement from AppliancePartsPros. Delivery quoted 2 to 5 days. Package arrived next morning by Stealth fighter jet. Amazing! 

Replaced the element 

Amazingly found a new baking element that would fit our 30 year oven with the help of your online chat system... My husband replaced the element as well as the screws.... and the oven works beautifully!!! Thanks AppliancePartsPros.com!! 

Ordered replacement, turned off circuit breaker, unscrewed old element, screwed in new element, turned on circuit breaker, tested bake element. 

First I took the knobs off the oven so no one would try to use the oven. Then I turned off the circuit breaker, and removed the two screws (hex head) that hold the plate to the oven. Then I took off the two screws that connect the element to the wires. I ordered on Monday and got part on Tuesday, which was very nice. Putting the unit in went smoothly, using the new screws I ordered with the element.
