How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4355888 / WD08X10075 Dishwasher Lower Door Gasket

Well, I procrastinated and went through some towels until it got baaad. Video for the repair using the lower seal actually showed it more difficult than my experience. I’ve done a few appliance repairs. And the overnight (because I’m dumb and waited) cost more than the part. Only difference between video and me was I had to take out two screws that attach the unit to the underside of the counter to pivot the unit forward due to cabinets interfering with access. Otherwise it was easy peasy. Oh and the lower screws were Phillips head and not 1/4” hex for a socket. But probably 10 minutes start to finish. Put tissues below to verify the seal and all good. Ya do need a piece of wood or paint paddle or hammer handle like in the video. A wire brush handle as shown would be easiest I think. 

Replaced gasket with help of AppliancePartsPros video. It would have taken me much longer to figure out how to replace the gasket without the video. 

Repaired with tub and door gaskets. Very easy fix and seeing videos on how to dismantle and replace was great! Excellent company. Received the items needed quickly. 

Ordered the seal from AppliancePartsPros. Watched the how too video. Put what I learned to use. It worked, the dishwasher is fixed with no leaks. Thanks 

I purchased the Door Gasket and Tub Gasket after watching a couple videos supplied by you all. Looked doable and it was! Parts arrived next day, I followed them to a t however the two bottom screws needed a Philips head, not a ratchet. Replaced the Door Gasket first, then the Tub. Ran a short run and voila! Husband was impressed! Thanks for saving us some $$! 

I replaced the small door seal on the bottom of the door. 

Removed old wheels and snapped on new ones. 

Ordered lower door gasket. 

Replaced both bottom and door gaskets. Took about 10 minutes. 

Ordered the part and received it right away. We watched your video. All went well after a few grumbles lol, and replaced the part. Thanks.
