How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2015100 / WB03T10035 Selector Knob

Just put the right knobs on to replaced the old ones. 

Ordered and replaced it! Apiece of cake! 

Lift cooktop out of mount Unscrew the 10 or so screws connecting the glass top to the base. Unscrew the hex head screws holding the cover of the switches. Take off the bad switch (take photos of how each is wired). Put on new switch (using your photo as a guide for wiring). Put screws back on. Reinstall. 

Watched a youtube video on how to remove the glass top and then it was straight forward to remove the damaged switch and replace with the new one. Project took about 2 hours. 

Bought a replacement switch, exactly the right part using your website. 

I tried several times to find knobs to replace with no luck. When I went on ApplianceParts the search was easy. I found both the control knobs and one selector knob in black. They came quickly, fit perfectly and now by stove top looks sleek and upgraded for minimal expense:)
