Thomas C Pacoima , CA December 15, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator TDX9SNXBRWH Refrigerator wouldn't turn on By replacing the thermostat, my refrig. is now up and running again. Your website is easy to use, tech articles are a great help and the service and contact from your customer service dept. was exceptional! It's a shame that some of the cosmetic parts I ordered have been discontinued by the manufacturer, but the unit is twenty-one years old, so that is understandable. Thanks for your help. Read More... Stephen W Lee , NH July 22, 2016 The fridge became a freezer My son suggested R&R the thermostat, which was our best option as the fridge that went down was less than 10 years old, but was only 4' 10" high, so difficult to replace. I replaced the thermostat, and now it is as good a s new. TYVM Woody Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Ron P Bismarck , ND January 02, 2016 Appliance: Model CP 147 JW MULLER REFRIGERATOR Did not run Replaced (open) thermostat. This was a Muller fridge, German built. So putting that model (CP 147 JW)number into a search brought little help. Putting the number from thermostat 077B6528 brought up Appliancepartspros.com and another customer had said that number was on his thermostat from a GE fridge. Looking at the diagram for that GE, it appeared identical to this Muller. So they obviously put their fancy cabinet on a GE fridge. I think the part is a universal as the capillary tube is longer, but the body and connections matched up. This was a case of customer helping customer and Appliancepartspros being the messenger. And hence the place that got our business:) Thanks for all the helpful info on your site. Now we are just finding the sweet spot where to set the new thermostat for correct temperatures. And hopefully this will help someone else........the whole point of feedback I think. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

Ellen W Eugene , OR September 29, 2014 Bad thermostat Appliance Parts Pros was able to help me find the right part. It got to us quickly and we were able to install it easily. The "capillary" wire attached to the thermostat had us scratching our heads -- what to do with that coil of wire? At first we sort of draped it in exposed fashion on the fridge wall, but the fridge ran waaay too cold. Now we have this coil of wire tucked into the back panel and temps are stabilizing in the right zone. Now we have our old, manual defrost garage fridge back in operation, and we couldn't be more pleased. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
