We ordered the turntable motor from Apliancepartspros, watched their video on how to replace the motor, and replaced the motor. It took only about 5 minutes to install the new motor.

I ordered a replacement synchronous motor and installed it. Now the microwave works just like a new one. 

New motor 

I watched your video which was spot on. My repair took about 15 minutes and everything worked great! I may add that your pricing was much better than if I would have ordered the replacement part through GE. 

Replacing the turntable motor to eliminate the grinding noise is an exceptionally easy task. Just remove the screws on the bottom of the microwave, remove the bottom panel, disconnect the light power cable, disconnect the motor power, unscrew and remove the old motor, and then reverse all steps using the new motor in its place. Important things to note: - The bottom panel tilts down, then lifts up on the back edge to pop out of the slots holding it in place. - Make sure you reconnect the light power cable before putting the bottom panel back in place. Incredibly easy, and now the microwave sounds normal again! 

I replaced the Turntable Motor and Coupler. Both parts fit as and worked as expected. thank you, Steve
