How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2024962 / WB26X10038 Turntable Motor

R&R the Turntable motor 

Bought the GE part, as it was $40 compared to $170 for the Frigidaire part (my microwave is a frigidaire gallery), after online chat sites with appliance repair workers informed that they were the same motor, just priced very differently! Installation was really easy - just removing the screws from the bottom panel, take out old motor & replace. Took 5 minutes! Everything is working perfectly now. 

I replaced the turntable motor. It was very easy. I just unscrewed the bottom panel and then unscrewed the one screw that held the motor in place. Then I pulled out the old motor and inserted the new one. It took less than 5 minutes.

I changed the motor. Watched Youtube and saw how to do it. I knew the microwave was still functioning, just the tray would not turn. It was a little tricky but I got it done and saved a lot of money. Not to mention changing out the whole microwave and securing the vent pipe etc.

Removed the old motor and found a replaceent on your site, and ordered it. The part showed up in 2 days. The repair was simple to replace the bad motor with a new motor. It was 2 screwes and 2 wiring harnesses, very simple. The repair was successful. It took all of 5 minutes to do the entire repair and put the microwave back together. Very pleased with how quickly the new motor arrived.
