A large hand tighten nut makes the spray assembly is easy to remove and replace. No tools required. Works great and dishes come out clean. Thanks. Edgar V Venice , FL January 15, 2021 Appliance: Model GLDA690MBB Dishwasher was not cleaning well and often left crud on dishes The old upper spray arm had a misshaped rubber washer that would not lie flat and the arm had debris blocking some of the water spout holes which resisted removal. I was skeptical about replacing it, but once the new arm was installed the plates were shiny and there was no longer any crud on the dishes. Read More... I was going to take off the spinning arm to bleach it, but ended up breaking it. I am so glad for AppliancePartsPros.com. Breaking the upper rack arm, which was basically stuck and I tried too hard to remove it and broke it. I almost thought I had to buy a complete new upper rack. Enter AppliancePartsPros.com - found the upper arm assembly. [During my successful 'cleaning', I also noticed the wheels were not freely spinning, so I ordered replacement rollers for both the top and bottom rack] I was VERY careful installing the arm assembly. [no directions, just took my time] and aligned the ridges and nubs etc together before twisting. Ran the dishwasher in test mode, upper rack is usable again!! Very pleased. Had to strong arm the wheels a bit.... All the parts FIT the dishwasher [it's not THAT old 8 yrs but not made anymore...] as advertised. Will be back!! Read More...
