Ran electrical tests listed it threads.
Found no flashing light signal from control unit. Did voltage tests, no fluctuation of voltage at wire. Replaced control unit. Same issue. As long as I was ordering parts, lid switch and the drive belt, which was 6 years old. It came off very easy, where as the new one was a pain to reinstall. So far, so good. When it would stop, there was a a hot rubber smell (old belt?). I don't usually use the shotgun repair method, but when the suggested repair didn't work, I went after the simple stuff. The staff was very helpful steering me in testing components and wiring systems, and I thank them all for there help!
