How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4998833 / ACA56078801 Outer Door Boot Seal Clamp

Bought new seal through these guys and had the old one out and the new one in within an hour and so far it seems to be doing its job. We've done 6 loads or so and no leak so I'm happy. 

Put new seal clamp on

Replaced the pump 

You need a tool to stretch this ring . I was able to use a mini hand vice to pull the ring and insert it over the gasket. My word of advice is to keep your front loader gaskets clesn, that small drip of water at the base may not mean much at the time but it is rusting the clamp
